The "Jester" Section Hiker is the premier podcast with the spotlight on section hikers!

The stories you will hear are about everyday people who, in addition to their everyday lives, make the commitment to hike long-distance trails where every section is a new beginning.

From National Scenic Trails to National Parks and all Trails in between, listen with your host, Julie “Jester” Gayheart, to hear what it means to be a section hiker and the adventure that awaits them section by section.

Jester is focusing the month of March on a four-part series that is loaded with information on Prepping for a Section Hike. This week Jester is back with Maria Wishart aka Wheezy Pee for Section Hiking Prep (Part 3). Today they talk about clothes, food, and electronics when it comes to hiking.

Once again, the live chat audience is proving to be a valuable asset to these Section Hiking Prep series episodes. The chat taught us about different types of electrolytes, water purifying methods, and even some different brands for Men's boxers that are great for hiking! It really feels like we are around a camp fire having a chat!

Thanks for Listening and Happy Section Hiking!
